Francisco Liriano delivered his third consecutive win on Sunday against Cincinnati Reds affiliate, the Louisville Bats. Liriano threw 95 pitches over 7.1 innings while allowing 2 earned runs while striking out five. The 24 year old southpaw showed excellent command, as he did not yield a single walk during his outing for the first time this season. The lone extra base hit was a double by Michael Griffin.
With the win, Liriano improves to 3-2 with a 3.78 ERA. He has shown great consistency in the month of June, and its only a matter of time before he is called up to join the Twins rotation.
